Welcome from the Principal
Welcome to the Côte Saint-Luc’s Music Academy Fortissimo (MAF) where our goal is to share music with you! Each year our talented faculty and students participate in classes, ensembles, competitions, perform at student recitals and concerts. We are proud to keep the art of learning and performing music alive! Our students range from 2 to over 80 years old, each of them welcoming music into their lives. There are opportunities for everyone to reach their own personal musical goals and fulfill their intrinsic musical passions.
Two years ago in 2008 we entered into a partnership between our Academy and the City of Côte Saint-Luc. We hope that this tandem will bring our many plans closer to fruition; help us grow and thrive. In the year 2009 we stuck to our promise to continue to expand our music and art curriculum. As a result we now have a rich extra-curricular program (art studios, theatre, circus etc.) and an enriched, comprehensive music education program (piano group lessons, choral program, music history and theory etc.).
In 2010 we plan to officially launch a financial aid program, which will serve our mission to provide accessible music instruction to everyone in the community, regardless of their ability to pay.
We thank you for joining the Fortissimo Family and for discovering your own unique way to appreciate music!
